Severance pay changes?

I recently left TR because I no longer had the patience to stay here for even a day longer while waiting for severance pay. Is it true that they have changed the severance policy in the meantime? What is the latest severance policy? Did they drastically reduce everything that could be reduced?

I really can't see TR reaching out to new employers to question what your role is and salary etc ? There are such things as privacy laws.

@vwam+1bfdplVI - Are you sure they will contact a new employer to verify your work details? If that's the case, that is pretty bad. I don't want my old job calling my new job questionning what I make. Even more reason to use up as much severance as possible - unless you can get a signing bonus to offset.

The new severance policy is that... "It is your responsibility" to let them know once you have found a new job. You are to provide them with the basic info, they will then reach out to the new employer and gather details like new job title, responsibilities and compensation. Based on which they will determine whether the new job is comparable to your TR job or not. If they determine (sole discretion) that it is comparable, then your severance stops.

I know that they cut it in half recently, and made it almost impossible to find out unless you happened to know off memory what it was before.

If you find a job before severance package runs out you have to pay them back. Lol they so getting ready to sell parts of the company off with stock near 100. I split before they could lay me off too
