No vaccination for me, thank you. But, you can have mine if you like. The company won’t require any scanned documents to prove anything. If they request data to be put in a database, I’m prepared to give them my brother’s vaxx data, but I’ll use my name to make them happy.

@6ubk, You need to save and budget your income more wisely so that you can move to a better area then. You have that opportunity, it's not being denied. But the pathetic mindless indoctrinated losers there also wear masks, just like in the trailer park where you live, only there's more of them.

"I see mostly mask wearing in the more educated areas of town."

That's a funny way of saying indoctrinated.

Yeah, let's not talk about clotting, strokes, or coronary complications. Those are against the narrative. Don't want to miss out getting those CDC dollars.

For those who still wear masks outdoors, they now offer the outdoor seatbelt. If I were you, I’d get those too just to be safe and virtue signal to your snowflake friends.

I never see anyone living in the trailer parks or in the double wides wearing masks.

It's really simple. The Phizer and Moderna vaccines are highly effective with little to no side effects. Covid-19 is highly contagious and for some people deadly. Swallow your 'principles' and go get the shots.

Yes, that is pretty pathetic, the people like someone below sarcastically referenced, walking outside, walking dogs and such, yards or more away from anyone, out in the nice fresh air, where the CDC no longer even recommends masks, yet a few, including apparently young and healthy people are still wearing them like subservient little sheep. It really doesn't bother me at all but it's beginning to look more and more silly and I'm honestly concerned about the mental health of these people now.

@4idh, Do you mind reposting that in English, please? That's the language most people use on this site, thanks.

I’m not vaccinated or plan to be ever. I stopped wearing that useless cloth mask the day the CDC announced it wasn’t needed for vaccinated people. He-l, they even said that social distancing wasn’t necessary. Look, I’m not all too concerned about this new strain of coronavirus. The common flu can be any of 200+ strains of influenza viruses, including known coronavirus. The flu hasn’t bothered me or millions of people for decades. Why then should this lab manufactured one be much different? If you are a healthy person with no immune deficiency problems, you’ll be fine. I go everywhere now without a mask and look everyone in the eye. Take off the mask. It’s high time to encourage as many people to do the same.

I even wear the mask walking my dog outside and so do some of my neighbors. It has become normal.

I like how the anti-vaxxers/maskers appear to be refreshing their browsers so that they can repeatedly upvote their own posts and downvote posts they don’t like. Classy.

This is typical of their shared mentality; contest something that makes sense and isn’t difficult because you don’t like who said you should do it, then dig in and attack the messenger with juvenile insults and non-sequiturs.

We can now infer why Chevron and O&G are in in decline; because of the people who work there.

@4qds+1bgM6rMM:
So because you haven't seen a mask in weeks or seen people wearing one and you aren't vaciinated, in your limited world, that means the COVID scare is over for the planet and no one in the entire world needs masks anymore?

Typical.

No, that would be incorrect. The entire snoflake mask scare is a thing of the past. I haven't even seen one in weeks much less worn one, no vaccine. . Move along now. Nothing to see here... Yawn....

Masks are here to stay for a lot of people, with or without vacine. I feel comfortable in it and wear whenever around strangers or at work. Keeps out dust, flu, allergies, etc. makes good sence.

Chevron could make this very easy: allow anyone who can work from home to do so if they want to. Their insistence on having people physically present when their job doesn’t require it is asinine.

As for all of the non-maskers/vaxxers, I expect you’ll be the first ones filing lawsuits against the company when you get sick at work. You’ll get 0.00$ In damages when it comes out in court that you deliberately blew off getting a vaccine or wearing a mask.

Don’t worry, OP. Nobody’s going to get sick even if you didn’t get the damn shot. Besides, let’s say someone in the office does get the virus. Do you really think that Chevron will be able to point the finger at one of their employees? Please, don’t be sooooo naive.

@3bzb, Maybe those with the compromised systems should wear masks? That would protect them. Seems like common sense. Anyway, it sure is nice being able to go into the office with no mask & no vaccine, lol!

If you are unvaccinated and come to work with Covid, and spread the disease to those who have compromised immune systems, you should be fired. It's like spreading second-hand smoke to someone who can't breathe in smoke.

How about everyone just gets the vaccine, or wears a mask if they choose not to? I don’t see what’s hard about this. A mask is just PPE, like a hard hat or safety glasses.

Most of the people I've spoken to who aren't vaccinated are okay with wearing the mask and abiding by distancing rules. They might not like it, but it's not worth losing your job over.

The question they have is are people who've been vaccinated okay with working near others who are masked and not vaccinated?
