The OP quoting $8.17 an hour is spreading lies. Again.

ATT pay sales people vastly different dependent on title/position. Some ‘retail’ sales people are paid hourly rates and small commission; while an enterprise business account executive’s entry level position may earn $50-$60K plus commission. Experienced sales people can and do earn substantially more.

Average corporate sales rep makes aroun 50k-60k a year. I cant speak for authorized reseller stores but corporate pay is pretty decent. Depending on the state you might start anywhere from 12.50 per hour up to 15-16 per hour. Commission structure is pretty good where you will end up earning closer to 20-25 per hour.

Sales reps are also in a union meaning you will be getting 2 raises per year, most reps after 3-4 years sit around 20 dollars per hour before commission.

the person who said 8.17 either doesnt know what they are talking about or worked for a reseller

$8.17 per hour +.5% on new service sales. Mean works out about $28k per year and co-w0rkers
are not as perky or pleasingly "plump" as Lily Adams. More like Roseanne or Susan Boyle.

I've checked the usual suspects for this info, I'm just trying to confirm if what I found is true.
