Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

An apology?

Has anyone heard Stank or Stephenson say I’m sorry we broke our commitment to you? I’m sorry you gave up job offers or made career decisions based on documented benefits plans. You left your families home alone during ice and snow storms, hurricanes, even on Christmas Day, to make this company what it is, and we let you down. I am sorry!

Anyone? Asking bc Mair basically told us to get over it! All I remember is Stank saying it’s just too hard to manage all those different benefit plans so we said F it!

That day my daughter at 12yrs old called me crying because she was scared home alone in a dark cold house while I was at work as an essential employee haunts me to this day. I sacrificed for this?

“The inspector general of the U.S Department of the Interior released a report Wednesday exonerating President Donald Trump from false claims that he used tear gas to clear “peaceful protesters” from Lafayette Square for a Bible photo-op.”

CNN, the New York Times, and the Washington Post — among many other left-wing news media outlets — falsely claimed that tear gas was used against “peaceful protesters.”

Apology? Ha...

Uh, no.

Apologizing admits culpability. It can, and will, be used against you in a court of law. Consult your attorney for details.

The only apologies execs will utter are non-apologies, for example: sorry you misunderstood, sorry you feel offended, sorry your benefits are being cut, etc.

Stink and Randy apologize? Are you nuts? If anything, they probably think that every T employee should apologize to them for daring to ever question any of their genius decisions.

This is the company that invented Unix, managing different benefit plans is not too hard. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Well, I worked for 30 years and was told that upon retirement I'd get a FREE (No Charge - No Tax) Totally FREE Land Line for life. Retired as a 3rd level and moved out of State, out of Territory for 10 years. Moved back to Dallas Area applied for my FREE Land Line and was told it would cost me $25.

  1. K., signed up with Google Voice for Free. Internet is with TW Spectrum for $25 and Mobile is with Mint Mobile $15 per mo.

I take pride in directing friends, family, neighbors away from AT&T.
As long as you don't believe anything that anyone tells you at at&t - you will not be disappointed.
Just assume anytime their lips are moving - they are lying.

Mair, when he was just a VP, once teared up during a town hall after he was asked about layoffs. Navy Seal Sambar was also a straight shooter until legal started sitting in the front row of his town halls.

It's funny how the promotions and the money get these guys to break.

Who wrote the laws? You voted for them

“… and that you never say you made a mistake or apologize for anything because you are never wrong.”

Oh, yeah, you are right. Stephenson did say on one of his last town halls that the Tmob debacle was a learning experience for him. Never said anything about how many thousands of people his “learning experience” affected. It was all about testing and growing his leadership skills.

I heard Stankey and Stephenson say they are sorry you aren't CEO's. Boo-hoo.

They just are going to keep feeding the lie that the issue was "bad communication of the changes to employees".

If that's what they want to believe by saying it over and over again, it tells you how horrible they are as leaders if a communication company can't even communicate. Unfortunately for them, we all heard the changes loud and clear the first time.

I guarantee you, none of them think they did anything wrong, and if anything, they think at&t's employees should apologize to them for not executing their vision.

They're sociopaths, all of them.
