SIngle most persistent flaw remains managers favoring not talent or execution for customers but execution aka sucking up performance that fulfills their agenda hides their weaknesses rank and rate their direct reports accordingly- in a nutshell majority managers are self promoting self obsessed and support any even if a clueless id--t ---- a great company for folks who excel in worshiping their managers.

I don't think Intel is the worst company, but certainly not the greatest either
However, if you compare many the industry, Intel would not make the Top10 but certainly above average
Somehow, people has perception that Intel was the greatest company and it has to be the best place to work. So, this thought it wrong. But nothing to wrong about them because they have not work on the worse before.
One bad place to work, it could be a better place for others. So, if you think you are unsuccessful at Intel because of toxic environment, whether can you survive in another company and do better than your achievement at Intel? Sometime, we have to reflect on ourselves, are we better than that? Are we really that bad?

  1. VP L pressure managers to hire, promote, and also steal salary, promo from other candidates to meet their diversity goal
  2. Steal budget from FLM and give less raise to Engineers and FLMs and distribute among own staff. This is called protection money - “ The Cut”
  3. Promote hire husband and wife model to keep the retention
  4. Do not give old employee their mid point range salary
  5. Give big fat salary to new hire and provide $100K-150K worth RSU where old employee gets $9k-12k, YES its true after new CEO many new hire getting it
  6. Giving mid year promo and lot of RSU who threatens to quit
  7. Giving lot of money to the people who already have fat salary and poor Engineers suffer. The slave era - Make richer more rich and make poor more poor
  8. Fire people for no reason - BS - Truth and Transparency, no Safe ,
  9. Top mgmt don’t make better or quick decisions and throw on teams and blame.
  10. VP, Sr. VP openly shouting on people like slaves and blaming . No leadership quality and just passing pressure to Engineers or FlMs, SLM.
  11. HR is puppies or puppets of BU heads and spineless . When go to open door policy they share all details of who made complain without any record.

Intel is on trajectory to fall. It WAS and good company once upon a time - NO MORE.
