Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Why be honest on the survey?

I don’t even know why I was honest, because I’m aware that those who are honest have always been the target of layoffs. Maybe I secretly wish for that to happen, so therefore all that honesty.

I know that employee opinion will not make any improvements here. Perhaps someone thinks otherwise?

They absolutely know who did not take the survey. In my department 6 people got an email from management saying they were 1 of 6 people who had not yet completed the survey in their department. This was mid day June 18. They were encouraged to take it. Whether they can can tell who wrote what , I don’t know.

During my exit interview on a different company I told it like it was. The HR lady could not hold it inside and started cracking up. I was black listed from ever getting a job for the company. I sometimes apply for a job just so that the current HR can read what was recorded during the exit interview and have a good laugh.

@1lga, yes, they know who takes the survey and can easily identify you even though they say it's completely anonymous and confidential.
I completed a survey at another bank and I let loose on my manager calling her incompetent and a bully. The next few weeks, I was let go. It didn't matter anyway but it sure felt good to put it out there. For the record, she's still there so... go figure.
