Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2021 Ford Super Duty trucks due to issues related to the front-wheel hub extenders.
The defect: in affected vehicles, front-wheel hub extenders were not properly tightened by the supplier.
The hazards: loose front-wheel hub extenders may result in the wheel and tire detaching from the front axle, increasing the risk of a crash and creating a road hazard.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition.
