Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Selection process becoming strange

With due respect to everyone and with no intention of sounding arrogant, but I really can’t believe whom Nike hired to replace my colleague who went for greener pastures. I was once younger as well, I had almost no experience but I tried to learn as much as possible from people who were willing to share knowledge... Fast forward to present day, Nike did everything to drive away a man who was an expert in his field and hired a person who is not at all interested in the job. I hope this is an isolated case and not a new practice?

Let me guess - someone of the right age, political views, persuasion and pronouns upping our D&I score?

Not sure if you noticed, most entry level or mid-level jobs are in Banglore India or China nowadays. Only Senior level jobs for technology exist in Beaverton or " WHQ". Globalism is a trojan horse.
