"Cisco is not a marketing company . Collab failed miserably and let zoom fk them , networking side we got arista , extreme network , and HP all taking turn fking us . Ucs can’t compete with VMware solution."

Most of those products or features were acquired or spun-in. Cisco doesn't have the engineering talent or leadership to create or manage a technology product.

The only bright spot we have is Chuck promising not to lay off anyone

That promise has lapsed a long time ago. And there's been a voluntary early retirement, a voluntary lay-off for people notified that their role was "at-risk" of involuntary lay-off, and the involuntary lay-off for those that didn't find new roles or take the voluntary package since his promise expired.

Based on budgets and other things I'm hearing, it sounds like another LR is coming. Only time will tell if they do another "at-risk" warning or if they revert back to announcing an LR during the earnings call with one-on-one meeting invites sent shortly after to the impacted people.

And may the odds be ever in your favor.

And yet to vote for the policies that make the rich richer, and the poorer more dependent upon government assistance. Guaranteed.
