Note to management: When employees say we are "seeking more recognition" it really means that we are seeking betting compensation. You can sugar coat it any way you want, but we don't care about a generic acknowledgements or even your bravo awards. You have laid off many of our co-workers and just as many have left the company for better compensation. Those of us who remain are working even harder and are also looking for greener pastures elsewhere. In my case, it has been 3 years of minimal / no raises. After adjusting for inflation many of us are making 10% less than 3 years ago. Everyone I know is looking and will jump ship, without giving it a second thought.

Saying "more recognition" is like a politician saying "more jobs". A worthless platitude.

No mention of PIP quotes or the erosion of benefits.

Really? More recognition? What a waste of time and money.

Recognizing large groups or entire organizations of people is lazy leadership and a poor substitute for just raising pay. It is divisive and undermines the leaders of the other groups.
Tough times are coming. Honeywell cannot raise product prices and salaries are inflating rapidly especially in engineering. Meanwhile honeywell is tracking hourly labor rate and trying to push work to low cost regions. They will pay for higher USA salaries by cutting census. No other choice.

Time for India to start unionizing and benefiting from their technical maturity. Unionization and demands for higher wages would be successful at this critical time as the economy restarts. India needs to wake up and demand that a university trained engineer make more than a McDonald’s employee in the states. And if Honeywell wants to argue that cost of living matters then the salary of all visitors and long term workers who travel for Honeywell should change depending on location. If an Indian comes to work in the US for three months they should earn US wages and still have room and board covered like any other US worker.

Amazing, last year my team was told they had done an incredible job but unfortunately not only had bonuses been retracted but Bravos were suspended as well due to the financial climate. We were then told to stay optimistic as the stock price was at an all time high and issuing good dividends which was a great signal.....a great signal for what....a signal you robbed us to prop the stock price and pay our leadership huge bonuses! That's recognition!
