Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Fiserv crumbling into oblivion

It is heartbreaking watching this once-great company violently implode at the seams and descend into irrelevance due to tyrannical and incompetent leadership.

  • Employee benefits continue to be tampered with and degrade over time
  • The e-mail servers are literally billowing smoke due to the sheer number of Back2Business, Clover and "double down on diversity & inclusion" emails clogging up the pipes
  • HR expends a ridiculous amount of effort posting lies here and on Glassdoor rather than running the company ethically and letting the results speak for themselves (how do they even sleep at night?)
  • The Living Proof Awards website used to have a nice community feel to it but was replaced by a broken mess, no doubt to discourage award-giving in a frantic attempt at trying to save the rapid downward descent of the bottom line
  • Time and money were actually spent creating a dedicated agile group
  • Banks are deconverting and are apparently even posting here (!) - ouch
  • Guy is flushing huge bundles of green down the drain on this waste-of-time "digital education series", which appears to be some paid-for IBM propaganda, no doubt to try to justify his worth
  • HR sends out ridiculous surveys and then reports statistics on very select questions in order to push their agenda while giving the illusion that they actually care about what employees really want
  • Frank is no doubt laughing maniacally as he reads this post, thinking about all of the money he has bilked from hard-working associates

HR's answer to this will no doubt be "other S&P 500 companies are doing it too". Truth be told, Fiserv copies the worst part of every S&P 500 company and somehow manages to cobble it together into a single company.

"shuffle existing associates into new roles" is code for shutting down business units, RIF'ing people and hoping Wall Street doesnt notice

When your recruiters are calling people that left the company 6-12-18-24 months ago you are lacking new candidates. Obviously the word has gotten out to stay away from Fiserv and people are listening.

What "new people"? You literally just sent a company-wide email stating how you would like to shuffle existing associates into new roles since you can't find anyone who wants to work here.

Hilarious, never seen such an entitlement mentality in my life. The new people we hire have none of this baggage! They are delighted to be here so take a hike loser!11

Last poster....pick an English class or two at the local community college. Your inability to string together a thought, with accurate punctuation, exemplifies why you are a dead-end FISERV “meets” tool.

Journalistic mastery piece you’ve got to be kidding me, how about a former employee who couldn’t cut it in a company that expects a fair days work for a fair days pay. You couldn’t take being held accountable so you left to find that you are already finding yourself on the outs at your new place because you never were a performer, just lacked the honesty and self-awareness to know it! Good luck your lack of work ethic and lack of talent will catch up to you soon!

All I can say is “bravo” to the author. Your post is a journalistic masterpiece in a sea of FISERV incompetence
