Xom here. Yes and it stinks. We are losing the 15 year and younger folks by the truckloads. I’m a year from retirement and cant wait! Everyone is miserable, stressed, with morale the lowest I’ve ever seen in @all of my career.

I hope your management doesn’t go this route. It’s awful.

Ditch all the “Fake it till ya make it” posers who really don’t have any clue of their own!

Ditch all the scrum masters, product owners, chapter heads, fake data science program graduates, and anybody with digital or agile in their title. You won’t notice a difference.

The problem is we keep losing the wrong 10%. Keep paying our best people to leave or retire early. And we keep creating more and more worthless positions that add no value.

Why is it sinister to want to remain in business? Ditching the clock-watchers and the hangers-on, the underperformers, and the downright incompetent or useless... that's the way it should be.

Enron always did this. Rank and Yank it was called. Low performers were cast into the Redeployment Pool, given a cubicle and telephone on the Loser Floor and given a few months to find a new internal job. After that, they were out.

Companies have got to start having a heart or people are going to start pushing for more regulation. Exxon doing this is sinister. Hopefully Chevron doesn't sink that low. Shareholders are important but not gods and do not deserve to be the only thing companies think of. Its time employees start to be something companies think about and not just an afterthought.

Chevron has a heart. 20%+ without severance. No wonder they don't care when people leave. Unfortunately, for all stakeholders, ITS THE WRONG PEOPLE.
