If someone is only working 3 hours a week at Chevron then they have the bandwidth to take on an additional job. Morally that's repugnant, but if you're working with JG you're already familiar with repugnant things.
Why wait? Because chevron winners enjoy collecting that paycheck and can work either 3 hours a week or 40 hours a week and no one cares. Further more they can wait for the payout and have no real skillsets getting developed to land a new job. So in the mean time MANY wait and stew in the mediocrity mess of all that’s left.
Why wait? Don’t let the door hit you in the *ss on the way out.
Next big purchase will be more about synergies than integration. But it will take forever unless it is with Exxon. Then it will be ruthless and fast.
So glad I left in the last round.
This is what motivation looks like these days.
And I know of several more folks who'd do the same thing.
