Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Why is nobody trying to stop the brain drain?

Nobody at HON seems interested in making sure that the brain drain is mitigated and the most talented people stay with the company. On the contrary, the management is happy to see them go and it keeps throwing money their way during layoffs to make sure that they leave if they already hadn't. What other company does that?

Who cares? Honeywell deserves to go under. Find a better place to work. Life is too short to work for an employer that will constantly mistreat and scam its employees.

They are paying big time retention bonuses to a bunch of incompetent fake leaders who only care about their $$$$. Where's my $$$. A once proud organization full of innovative engineers and dedicated workers is the K-Mart of the aero industry. Where's K Mart today?

The competent are regarded as too old and/or an unnecessary expense. Offshore sweatshops, H1-B and contractors are the future.

They don't want employees, only contractors...... The company will consist of the CEO, the BOD and very little else. This has been a long time coming but the HLT is cutting edge in their advancement of this type of Conglomerate Business Management. They think they will win an Edward Deming Award!
