Many deals underway, selling big packages in West, Central. Anyone in those areas should be concerned. Layoffs will coincide with assets being sold.

Good riddance to Ansel and all the bag &$&$$. The good ones have already left on there on terms or had big packages handed to them. The remaining workers are all scared and afraid to say boo!!
Bunch of deep basin micro properties are on the block. One will be announced shortly but none are highly material.

CNRL actually evaluates properties before they purchase. it is rumoured that CVE uses a wise former driller to decide if a purchase is good or not. Same method for selling stuff.
Good, Edson is a money sink. We should have divested that asset when NGL became unviable.

Well yes that’s a given. For those from Husky that don’t get this let me help you out. Cenovus does not care one iota about you as an employee and they will do any and everything to get rid of as many employees as possible. This is why we have been through 10 rounds of layoffs over the past few years. And yes them selling assets after a big purchase is also a given to reduce debt, Alex has said as much. So if there is a sale there will be mass layoffs. That is how Cenovus works and has worked for the last ten years. As long as you remember that they don’t care about you you’re good. You owe them nothing other than the 8hrs for your pay and that’s it. They sure won’t be worried about you.
