How you guys think of a customer success role in Cisco?

Actually it seem that it’s the trend moving ahead. But not sure how sustainable it is
If you want a job that the entire rest of the team supporting the customer despises because it has no accountability, provides no value, and is taking funding away from other areas that are drowning in work - good on ya!

Candidly, look at the function and compare it to your abilities and what you want to do. Do the same for other roles and go after something that YOU find meaningful - not the rest of the Internet.
Normally what’s the grade for a css role?
@1saj+1bvqVmbR salary has a higher range for same grade compared to technical consulting engineer. About 10+ percent.
In defence of tac. They used to say, but you can do weekend shifts, work 6/7 days and also get a pay bump in salary. Good that we have many mantra's saying it's a lil about work life balance and all.
2 year failed experiment that probably cost us more than the Flip and Cius combined. Absolutely 0 value and a boat anchor to field teams.
Its a Mickey Mouse role in Cisco. I see it a bit like someone who works in the Apple Store / Genius Bar.

I think it sucks and can be LRed entirely
take it and just milk the $ out of it.. it is a soft role and soft skillset, and can blame on everyone else for anything if not successful.. be rest assured lots of higher up were at same role before and climb the ladder easily.. take credit for anything that other people does.. just have to skillful at below
a) no shameful for anything, thick skin
b) keep lying everyday
c) as long as $ comes, look for a better job at the same time..
d) take the ride and get the package..
