Been with WFM 10+ years. Never seen the conditions so bad. Morale has been shaky for a long time but hey, WFM hires a lot of people with mental health issues to be honest. That’s never been the canary in the coal mine to me because I don’t put a lot of stock in weak 19 year olds morale when it comes to their jobs. But god almighty it’s bad. I’ll tell my boss meat is rotten and spoiled and they just laugh. Someone will die soon from the cr-p we sell. And then it won’t matter how much a-s is kissed. I haven’t bought any meat from the store I work in in over a year. I can’t believe people still come in. Shame. I’m not lying to the guests anymore. I’m just going to tell them I wouldn’t feed this cr-p to my dogs.

My tl over orders on things like: tomatoes, berries, etc. And when they go bad instead of writing them up a spoilage, he just dumps them on the preproom tms to to perform miracles with.

Do you remember when we could only ask questions during job interviews like; if you were a tree, what tree would you be, or what color or animal would you be. No questions about job experience,etc. No serious job related questions, only fun questions because interviews were suppose to be fun and lighthearted. No wonder there are mental issues with team members. They changed the interview questions due to complaints from applicants that the interview process was too stressful. Oh poor babies couldn't handle the stress. We had high turn over ' cuz they couldn't handle the job either.
People used to complain about getting sick after eating food from WFM, would just be told it was probably a virus. I had my own experience with food poisoning from prepared food there and that ended my fresh or prepared food buying. We had several instances of mice infestation as well. What's really awful is when they run around the sales floor and get in the products.

I used to think the MH person I work with was funny.
Now it's kinda scary.
It's a grocery store. Your gonna have allot of TM and TL with mental health issues and bad trigger points. So put your head down and make your money. Because you won't be able to understand people like that. Believe me I tried. Lol
