The new EM Board - Expectations

With the loss of trusted board members loyal to DW, and new additions with Engine 1, what do you think will change. DW has Lost the respect and trust of the vast majority of employees. He has lost the faith of shareholders but still our board do not take action. Maybe more of them need to go next year or will we see actual real change? Or should we be voting more of the old guard off next year?

So Goff lasted 3 years before he found a way to make more money... Who's next? Taking bets on next to go...

The CEO of Marathon was a former EM VP. He wasn't loved enough so found greener pastures. He's not the right person needed here.
To turn the image around, DW will be replaced by Chapman before year end. Chapman will improve the image while working collaboratively with the board until one of the current VPs is polished enough to take over. First step, board removes DW, Neil steps up to CEO and Jack runs the Upstream. The current Chem Pres can easily become the downstream & chem Sr. VP. Let's evolve this company to it's full potential!

It’s not going to be Carr, or Jack, or Brownwell, or even a woman (any woman).

The chosen one is Bart.
He’s polishing is “man of the people” image.
Nevermind he’s been the face of the Permian of the North and now the Permian of the South, ie the face of anachronism and failure.

@1eel+1bwYPVY4 So if we just called it a layoff you’d be satisfied? Then it would be ethical?

Have you talked to anyone in the renewables space? Friends of mine are all making less. For some it was a win as they wanted to move closer to family. If you think engine no 1 won’t replace us all with workers who make less and have renewables experience you are naive.

@1shh+1bwYPVY4 Don’t put Marathon’s CEO on too high of a pedestal. I’m sure he will find a way to make it up to himself.

The entire board and most supervisors are incompetent but have great brown nose skills. The Apple is rotten from the core. Perhaps try to steal a real leader like Marathons CEO to turn the ship around. He actually took a cut in pay in order to increase the morale

All board members are cut from the same cloth - do not expect Engine No. 1 to change the fortunes of the employees. They would be first in line to propose job cuts if it means sustaining the dividend. Let's face it - this company is too big for the diminished market that lies ahead. Cuts will have to be made. It is the unethical way they are going about it in the US that is the problem.

The one problem with outing Woods, is we might end up with Carr or Brownell and that would be castrathophic.

For regular employees, it’s very difficult to win at this game. If DW and his minions marginalize the newly elected board members, they can go on with their catastrophic decisions on pay freeze and eternal PIPoffs, while dodging any structural change that would improve the company.
If Engine No. 1 has its green way, we will start with even larger personnel reductions and then will lose what’s left of our shirt on green shaky investments.

Engine 1 was a good start but don't stop until DW gets ousted... If no reasonable change happens on the board, XOM will probably try to corrupt the new board members to their side... All these clowns 🤡 have to get out
