Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

what have you seen change on the last few weeks? how many people have left your team?

since the reorganization what has happened? im curious to see how many have gone and how many are working 50 plus hours trying to stay afloat?
if my team was a ship i'd call it the titanic cause we are taking on water faster every day!

Take your time. Don't get stressed out about it and focus on what actually matters. Its only cookies and crackers. The schedule fu-k up is on them. Always use safety as an excuse.

There is absolutely no reason to bust your a-s at this company. Take a break. Watch Netflix in your car or bathroom.

They won't fire you. They weren't going to promote you anyway. They won't give you a 20% raise if you do 20% more business. Actually just do .05% growth. They need you more than you need them. Remember that.

Chances are you'll out live your manager.

thats what drove me out! not as young as i used to be and what i thought was being a team player was in reality me making a fool out of my self!

What I'm saying is if I completely bust my a-s, work as fast as I can so I can get done in 40-42 hours, so I can have some kind of life outside of this company, they will take a store someone else has been doing, and put it on me.

I am forced to work at only a moderately fast pace to get done, but not so fast that I get done with less than 45-50 hours because if I do they add another store on because you know I'm faster than this guy, and I can handle it. No thanks. The faster I work, the more work they give, so I had to take a step back. I would only work 40-42, but as you can see they won't let me, even though they preach it, cause they keep adding. I'm done working this hard while slackers get paid the same for performing half the work.

Every week when the schedule comes out, and I look at my supposed 40 hour schedule, it's really 50 hours, and I have to really hustle to get it done in a reasonable time, but again not too reasonable or they add more.

Hope that makes sense?

Greedy, disgusting company(group of managers).

if you re saying that your time records are being changed thats serious! correcting mistakes is one thing but id start taking screen shots of my time each day! whats your job....are you a rep or an "ft order writer/merchandiser?
when you start screwing with peoples pay records and shaving time worked off the record youre in serious stuff! protect yourself!

I have to keep my hours I work up to 45-50 hours per week, otherwise they will try to add extra loads, stores, stops onto my schedule, and try to call it 40 hours.

I'm over all of this!

If you still work here why stress yourself out. I know you want to do a good job but when management doesn't give a sh-t you shouldn't either. Take a break, come in an extra hour late, clock out early. Cause at the end of the day they don't give a sh-t about you. They won't fire you, they can't. They need bodies in the field.

Yeah, where’s the big announcement? I’m still waiting. Every day reps and merchandisers are quitting. Sales teams are so under-staffed it’s ridiculous. Reps working are working 55 plus hours a week. Management is packing out every day. How long can this continue? I can’t speak for the whole country but in this region it’s a mess.

i guess thats what ive been wondering! the theory has been passed around that all this is to run out the old timers to save a chunk of money on the eventual package thats coming! we are effectively destroying the dsd process by our inability to provide full service

People quitting left and right everyone working between 50 to 55 hrs. People servicing stores nowhere near their home. And I have been around for 20 some years we have always been a company of fixing things that are not broken but this time they have gone and thrown a damn bo-b in The mix. So many hands in the p-t it is a constant rotation issue. Quite honestly I do believe they are trying to get people to quit.

Since just before the changeover I've been working 44 plus hours. After the changeover I've been at or above 50 hours most weeks. While we haven't had people quit in a few weeks, we haven't added anyone since before the change.

The only positive is all the OT is as good or better than month bonuses (when hittable).

Hey mo--n, I work 48-50 hours EVERY WEEK!!!

I only work ON THE CLOCK. My services are not free, and I don't EVER work off the clock.

This company needs to do a self assessment and figure out why everyone keeps quiting, and they can't find any new employees to replace them because NO ONE wants to work here.

If you want to work here, then you are favored, and your experience is not like the rest of us.

You are all full of sh-t. Nobody in non management roles work more than 42 as the company does not want to pay overtime.

If your working 50 hours a week you are probably clocking out and working for free like a cuck.
