Good to hear that BTC will be eligible for it. It will mean a lot to us. Even the number of shares is not alot but for me it's alot for a BTC employee in terms $. Thanks for all who help respond to my post

Nope it’s not about sponsors or not. You need to be CL26 at least and in the outstanding category. For higher CL the bucket eligibility widens. It’s a straight forward criteria on who’s eligible

Don’t confuse being ranked high with having a sponsor. Not the same thing. Being ranked high doesn’t make you special. Having a sponsor does. You’ll know if you have a sponsor by the RSUs and CL promotions.

Wow I'm CL25 and I've been Outstanding for the past couple of years, and I have yet to receive any RSUs. In fact I got a salary freeze for my performance. I guess it's time for me to look elsewhere.

It isn’t just executives getting this. Employees with a few years who have been fast tracked are also getting promoted and receive RSUs. We don’t talk about it with you because they know you will be jealous.

CL30 (Executives) and above receive annual RSUs equal to their annual salaries. We are also still getting annual salary treatment and promotions.

RSU were designed to increase retention of top performers. With long vesting it increases the cash bonus competing companies have to pay to hire you away

Top Quintile. CL 26 = 160 Shares. CL 27 = 200 Shares. You get notified by Division Manager (above DH level) via a phone call in early December. Must sign confidentiality agreement to not discuss with other employees. RSU is a non transparent "hush-hush" incentive program.

BTC won’t ever get it because no local BTC person will ever be over CL23

its not a US only benefit, its a global thing so BTC is eligible.

its not a US only benefit. its a global thing. Oh and why is DW always pushing for dividends, because he holds ~1MIL XOM shares and that dividend payout he got last year is probably similar to the cash component of his annual salary anyway!

why BTC is excluded from the program? also what is the eligibility for this year?

It’s a US benefit. BTC won’t ever get it.

Yes and it’s actually CL25 when you become eligible. Just rare to get them until 26

When did this payout happen? Was it to BTC also?

Yes at CL 26 outstanding received 180 shares vesting in 3 and 7 years. Truly a joke compared to a simple cash bonus of 10-20% of base salary. These guys are conning you about the competitive pay cr-p.

It is possible and limited to those in top performance categories. Restricted shares that vest in two blocks, at 3 years and 7 years. Usually something like 150 to 200 shares at this level. The rules of eligibility can change from year to year.

If you are assessed in a top category it is possible.

Yes they have it last year and this year. Salary freeze only applies to the worker bees. Those with a sponsor are still receiving raises and promotions.

Yes. I’d highly ranked you get RSUs.

Raises and promotions are also still being given out for the select few. If you are identified as a future high CL employee they keep progressing you up the ladder even in the down turn. Chosen few still receiving raises.

Did they give it last year even during the salary freeze?

If you are rated as Outstanding or higher and they think you can sustain that level of performance
