Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Really if you can get what you need and people are helping, then shut up. What their appearance is not your concern. Go about your business. No body is asking you to be bestfriends. We do our jobs to make sure members have what they need on a daily basis. So if you don't like having great service by someone with colorful hair and a nose ring then don't shop there, because there are 7.2 billion people on the earth and growing. Times are changing get with it or be quite.

Maybe the club needs to go back to providing our Sam's shirts. Problem solved. And I don't quite know when we quit expecting everyone to be properly dressed. But it sure has gone out the door. Store standards need to be kept up always. No one likes to come shopping seeing people dressed like they don't work there.

Sam's need to get their sh#@ together. As long as they are not offensive or even political, they should be allowed. I mean REALLY, getting written up for a rock n roll t-shirt but not for tattoos every where, piercings all over and the colors of the rainbow for their hair, all at the same time, is ok????? Just goes to show that sr management caves in to the "woke" but really has no clue what is going on in the clubs. Maybe they should get in the "trenches" for awhile or at least talk to those in the "trenches"! Id--ts!!!

Think HO needs to worry more about the BS and managers sleeping with hourly associates & managers just coming in late all the time & all the BS that is really happening in clubs before they tell us what to wear! They should give a clothing allowance for associates then!!!

Twenty years ago I was a team lear and trying to get associates to take out their earrings and piercings was a lost cause. They would take them out when they saw a manager or team lead and put them back in when that person left, kind of like they do with their cell phones now. And then they would laugh like they were getting over on you because they didn't get caught.

And then we have the people with the rainbow colored hair Ridiculous, people dress like slobs in our store. The look like they slept in their clothes.

If this helps rid the clubs of the HIDEOUS and GROTESQUE NOSE RINGS then I’m all for it. These freaks of nature look like a bunch of cattle with their stupid looking metal rings hanging out of their noses.

When I started at Sam's 30 years ago and for about the first 20 years we could not wear printed shirts, leggings, open toed shoes, sleeveless tops, caps with any logo other than Sam's and socks or nylons were mandatory. Face piercings were not allowed or you had to remove any face jewelry other than earrings, while working. Sam's is trying desperately to clean up their reputation and quite frankly, many of their clubs looks like a freak show inside. So this is understandable.

It is so stupid that this is what HO is concerned about when they have real issues in clubs they should be dealing with . Just goes to show that the people in charge have never actually worked in a real Sam’s club .

Its ridiculous.. no more sports tees.. it wont be enforced til your gm has a meeting.. glad leggings are GONE!!!

I wore a state Lottery shirt today and no-one said anything. Maybe I'll wear my old Beavis and Bu-t-Head shirt tomorrow.
