Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Associates leaving

Are there other clubs out there that hourly associates are leaving because of pay, management, & not enough help during their shifts?? Curious.

I requested a transfer to another department because of pay. Manager approved the transfer. Was told today that it has been denied because it would leave the department I'm in now short handed. What a bunch of BS. So I put in my 2weeks noticed. F U Sam's Club.

I dread going in to work today. It is the first of the month, it will be crazy. There will not be enough help. People on the radio screaming for help over and over again. It is enough to drive you crazy. I had a member say the other day after hearing the inept radio traffic that our club was sh.t show at best. Right on!!!!!!

Practically everyone in my club says they are looking for a different job but when they start saying that out loud too much, managers pick on them to make their day suck so they snap and quit or get fired for attitude.

In our club people are leaving the front end because of the huge push for credits and upgrades. It is ridiculous. They created a new mgt. position to make sure cashiers are asking the members. What a joke. Do we need another layer of management for this? Ridiculous. Of course I understand this person gets "commission" on credits? I wonder how the cashier would react if they knew the they are being hounded to put extra dollars in someone's paycheck.
