Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

New Intel acceleration, it’s accelerated layoffs

Only thing I see in Intel’s future is accelerated pace to layoffs.

Renaming process nodes is essentially a public admission of succumbing to failure and having to submit to having lost.

The presentation reminds me of every presentation of the past four years. PowerPoints with no data or relevant plans but promises upon promises that have been later followed up with delay after delay!

Sorry he did not say anything material about what he has changed. All the big words are empty and Intel has had no credibility for the past five years. Pat’s promises are as empty as his predecessors.

Name materially changes made in TD that suggest a real change? Physics is the same in Hillsboro, Taiwan and Korea.

Intel has had the best talent and all the ones and failed for the last 5 years, what has Pat materially changed thar suggest the mistake and failed execution of 10nmm and 7nm is now fixed because he said so? Sorry EUV and a few rehires isn’t fixing the fundamental rot inside

Intel argued for years saying Intels 10 nm is really equivalent to TSMCs 7 nm…. Now they are seeking 3nm help…

If this is how foundry is run, global foundry nay be able to buy Intels fabs.
