So there is a 1000 new COVID-19 cases in Virginia. It’s only getting worse and everywhere else. I wonder what Verizon will do. People don’t want to be vaccinated. Can Verizon force a vaccine mandate on its employees? If so will it even matter because the vaccine is not a cure you can still catch it. These are some trying times. I’m vaccinated but I can still catch it, so even if I come to work once I leave my job or go anywhere there is a chance I can get it and give it to someone. I think people are missing point.
Verizon always leans to be risk-averse. If the company wants to mandate they can, it is within their prerogative. I don't see us getting to work until Q1 and even then a lot more people will become remote or hybrid. They are not risking people getting Delta just because a plan was chalked up months ago.
