These are corporate lawsuits which are very normal and HON ain't the only corporate firms that have such lawsuits filed against them each year. There are a whole stack of them sitting outside our legal departments with some dragged on so long with some since the 80s that haven't even made it to any legal proceedings. Trick is to let it die an eventual death which most of the times happens.
There was a case years ago, that a complainant filed a case against HON for a breach in contract terms. The case was dragged so long with nothing more than sending one of our junior legal eagles to the offices to request for an extension when it was due. And, as usual, it gets extended and the whole cycle continues. It was dragged so long till the complainant finally met his maker and the case was closed. Awful trick but it works.
