Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

ISE Ownership

Yes, ISE has been long under EN BU, but been always led by GSSO team. rumoured that, the EN TSA would have to start to lead some ISE use case moving forward. Any thoughts?

Unified Access was just marketing. You mean Converged Access. Cisco IT did, and continues to, deploy SDA. But agreed, most customers are using EVPN.

ISE is required for SDA also. Will SDA even be around in 3-5 years? I see very little customer adoption due to the big complexity under the covers. Will go the way of Unified Access, Instant Access, etc. to the science project graveyard. Don't think even Cisco IT was foolish enough to roll out SDA. When it breaks - good luck finding someone to troubleshoot the needle in the haystack.

Is there even any EN TSA's left? I thought they all resigned when eric knipp forced everybody into his stupid c2e train wreck.

Good luck will never work.
