I keep seeing Q1 (after LR) does anyone have any intel on when reqs can actually be acted on? I see they keep going up on Cisco jobs site, but when can people actually start getting job offers? Any real intel would be nice.

Yes, the board has to approve the FY22 plan before they can allow any substantial hiring again. I wouldn’t be holding my breath until towards the end of August.

I think its August 8th
Then when will be the earning call?
No formal offers should be going out for ICs right now. If one were out prior to the freeze they didn't pull the rug out from under them so they continued the hiring process. Also someone here correctly noted they are still doing the planning. What I think is that they will wait until after the earnings call and even then not all of the reqs are going to be re-approved.
They are just doing the FY22 planning now. It will start once that’s done. I cannot get a clear answer out of execs (it was asked 4 times today in an all-hands and I’m still none the wiser). But it seems to be a few weeks away unless there is a desperate need and it’s escalated.
A select few reqs are open in US Sales & offers are being made.

Believe that they are still holding on till layoff happens. Maybe another qns is when layoff will start.
Only India has the ok to bring new members onboard.
