A close colleague who recently went to a competing company contacted me with a message that there are a lot of former Nike employees there, and those who were the best at what they do.
What has Nike become? A talent nursery?
I think the company is very wrong to take its best employees lightly. This could prove to be a very bad move.

Talent nursery. Truth. Ivy League or McKinsey flunk out. Two years, up or out. That is the new hiring and retention model.
Once you lose knowledge, trust and the Nike culture things will spiral. Stock is high.. moral is low. Competition is scooping up talent. Nike Inc. has repositioned into a direct to consumer company leaving its trusted partners in the Dust. No loyalty near and far. The John D philosophy!
