AT&T Management Severance Package 2021

I've done my time and will leave T by 11-15-21 at the latest. I'm no longer certain that they'll be any more Incentive Packages this year. Either way, I'm headed into the sunset ladies and gents. Let me know if you happen to hear rumblings about any management packages that will become available. Good luck to all and thanks.

Only those who joined AT&T in 1995 or before are eligible for subsidized healthcare options.

The CS&O org is actually under staffed at only 98% and will be looking to hire more personnel over time. Most positions require very little if any technical expertise, you can learn the job in 2 hours time, basically, high paying monkey work! Nothing complicated!

It is my understanding there will be no MVO for most of us. I requested an exception two months ago to add time to my age and service so I could retire out early and obtain the subsidized health benefits. I was denied. I’m 53 with 22 years of service. (75). I’m 1 yr 8 months from having the modified rule of 75. Unfortunately , on 1-1-22 there will no longer be any subsidized medical. At that time I will only be 14 months shy of the modified rule of 75. It would have been nice after all of these dedicated years to BellSouth / AT&T for the company to consider doing right by the employees who worked hard for them all these years. . We (employees) didn’t change the rules or move the retirement goalpost, the Company did. Let’s be honest, why would they offer anything to us at this point. They know the medical subsidy is going away in January. All they have to do is not lay anyone off until then and they are off the hook for any health care perks / benefits for those they lay off next year and beyond. In addition, I really didn’t want to retire just yet as I actually like my job. However, I didn’t plan to work past 57 and I was counting on the subsidized insurance. Just in total disbelief now.

Most orgs are already way over budget this year and cost reductions will begin this month. That's the only chance upper leadership will have to clear books now as the number of people leaving right at the end of the year will not help their books. Make the offer dip sh-t Stank

Also leaving in November...Time to GO! Wish there was a severance but doubt the new management team cares about long term / older employees.....less vacation, no more retiree health care (sc--w the rule of 75) I honestly believe based on numbers I hear are going...some teams will be needing to hire. In some orgs they have already been given the OK to back fill. The only important thing to them is making bad decisions and the WOKE culture.

How many years of service do you have and are you leaving the company to avail retiree health benefits?

Finance department is currently in the middle of a MVO. Finance also had a MVO in 2020.

I too am leaving, in October. I would be surprised if there were any MVOs in 2021. If there is and I miss out on it - so be it. I'm DONE with all of this.
