Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Remote Work is Dead!

It has been confirmed that all new positions will be in office and remote options are dead! Flexibility is not an option and most employees will be required to go into NY/NJ, Omaha or Alpharetta. Brookfield will only be headquarters by name only due to an agreement Jeff made.

Let the great resignation begin. It’s time to leave and go to a company that ACTUALLY values work/life balance.

Make sure to post your dissatisfaction on Glassdoor. Fiserv leadership doesn’t care about you but they do care about Glassdoor.

Frank is absolutely the worst thing to happen to Fiserv. His iron fist and lack of compassion is toxic. He says how much everyone is excited to see him when he visits an office. Let’s be clear, Frank has a red carpet rolled out for him. He doesn’t understand or care about the people making 10 times less money. He has maids, servants, lawn care, animal care, child care and everything you could possibly buy. Being in the office doesn’t affect him because everything is taken care of for him. He REFUSES to put himself in anyone else’s shoes.

HR, please make sure to comment anonymously about how terrible or envious I am and how Fiserv or Frank is the best thing since sliced bread.

Although I no longer work at Fiserv, I can attest to the fact that it has always been a pretty poor place to work. I was there for over 10 years and Yubuki wasn't much better than Frank. He was more quiet and used willful blindness as it related to the endless RIFs (reductions in force), not so thinly targeted at older workers. Get out of there people, this is no place for mental health, happiness or stability.

"Make sure to post your dissatisfaction on Glassdoor. Fiserv leadership doesn’t care about you but they do care about Glassdoor"

Every other review on glassdoor is a good one. These HR and C suite demons are creating fake reviews and posting them to offset the real reviews. Thats obvious. EVERYONE is unhappy including original FD employees. So how on earth can these good reviews be authentic. There is no way any employee over a few months is happy with the poor leadership.

WRONG. We were told last week anyone who is remote to an office closing MUST relocate to an office to keep their job. Lake Mary FL associates must relocate to NJ. They know nobody is taking that offer. What we knew would happen under FD rule is coming to fruition.

I’ve heard nothing of the kind. Leaders have been going into the office over the last month anyway so that isn’t a big revelation. Remote work will still be an option but some may need to come in a few days every other week. Enough with the fear mongering.

Heard late Fri weekly testing will be mandated…in Omaha ofc they have shoved us all within three feet of each other. So once we are exposed we had better be able to immediately wfh.

For everyone that had horrible and disrespectful things to say about the original note - Fiserv sent an email at 10am on Saturday REQUIRING everyone to return to the office starting with ‘leaders’. I guess this post wasn’t false as some of you claimed.

Fiserv, HR, Brand… we know you monitor this board so… why didn’t you send the email during normal working hours? Oh wait, Saturday mornings are normally working hours under Frank’s iron fist.

So what happens to the marketing group where all employees work remotely? The rules should apply to everyone and no one should get preferential treatment. Let’s see how that goes!

I'm hearing the call centers are moving to remote work because it decreased costs and expanded the labor pool, but everyone else needs to be in the office in September.

I resigned last week, my reasoning is I got offered a better opportunity with a hybrid remote working model. The firm offered me a 30% pay increase.

I was looking as soon as they announced we were going to go back to 5 days a week with no flexibility on that. I have a life outside of work. My performance should be result based, not presenteeism.

Good luck getting out all, the job market is great at the moment, take advantage!

@1diu+1c5sg0LH the company is 1000 better?!?!? I'm suprised you would say that unless you are one of those senior executives getting all that siphoned money from employee's by reducing benefits, perks, and shifting costs to employee's. This is all to help Frank get his bonuses.

I'm not sure what your definition of better is, but from this side of the fence it looks pretty sh---y.

For all those that didn't believe that remote workers wouldn't get canned. I would start getting your resume prepared. It is only a matter of time before you are deemed a number that they can cut to help Frank hit his bonuses.

The big round of lay off's went out in August when they reorganized the company. Things arn't working well, and would bet they will reorganize again soon.

We are monitored 24/7 - just look at the spyware on your laptop.

Remote work IS going away. I was told that and about the office consolidation plan 18 months ago. The only thing that slowed it down was COVID.

Now Frank is done with that, expect the consolidations to resume.

I had someone tell me a friend of theirs is leaving to go to Amazon. I laughed histarically knowing that they monitor your productivity and performance digitally 24/7. If you don’t like the performance accountability here (WHAT YOU call micro-management), you will last two days at Amazon. Hilarious!

Remember that although many major companies are requiring the vaccine they must make reasonable accommodations for people who refuse based on religious or health reasons (EEOC). Therefore if Fiserv requires the vaccine to return to the office, you can become a Christian Scientist https://www.christianscience.com/ because they do not believe in vaccinations. Fiserv must accommodate your religious exemption by allowing you to work from home permanently and if they don't just alert to EEOC.

I would never consider commuting 45 minutes each way.. I might do it for a decent company that is actually fun to work for, but FISV is a stinky tu-d lately. Right now I am wasting as much company time as possible to take what I can before I bolt. Once I leave, I am going to make it a point to post the truth all over the web to prevent others from making the mistake of applying here.

Oh really, Fiserv has 2,000 sales people who work remotely, 4,000 contact center positions who work remotely, thousands more who work remotely from recently closed locations and thousands more that currently work remotely due to the pandemic. Hardly a company with no remote work. So another hater who once again has no facts. Fiserv has done a magnificent job, led by Frank in taking the crumbling mess of OFSV and actually creating a professionally run Fortune 500 company.

Fiserv is desperate , they cant people to come to work, in Alpharetta if you wear badge out at lunch all you get is I know someone that worked there , and they hated it , they were either not paid enough or overworked, horrible place to work. Voted 9th worst place to work in 2013 that hasn't changed , there will be mass resignations you bet. Indeed had a 56% approval rating , they bought the LinkedIn rating that's fake , look at all bad reviews before you come to work here, it was so bad before marketing , HR was tasked at boosting up the reviews, they couldn't get anyone there either fake wanna be fortune 500 company

Fiserv is getting desperate because the recruiters are having a hard time filling all the open positions. And even more people are leaving! The titanic has snapped and now we are in the 2nd half of the movie. Good luck to you all.
