Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Who owns this site?

Who the fu-k owns this site? Does XOM own any shares of this site or sleep with site admins? I am finding a lot of my posts are not published or even getting deleted. What are you scared about? Or site owners and admins, are you protecting and publishing info that benefit the company and dont want others to hear?

Seems like your posts may be ones of deep anger and inappropriate for public domain. Perhaps that’s why they are deleted. This site is not a full-function therapy venue. Maybe try talking to a friend (without the anger and swears). Good luck to you in the healing process.

Good luck with that one, all the people I know posting here are using VPN.

Well @1xrc+1c6GNhnO referenced it, ExxonMobil can't do much about it unless it's illegal or violates the forum rules. And that's where things get interesting. My bet is that Exxon can and will file suit against this site purely for the purpose of getting a subpoena to match IP addresses to company equipment. Hey, recruiters and various financial institutions use this site to shape their views.

Don’t troll, avoid curses and personal insults and don’t post any real names (or other personally identifiable data) and your post will stick. That simple.

It’s a privately owned website with hundreds of forums similar to this one, most of them are more frequent than ours. I don’t think any HR is happy that this site exists, but it still does.

They (HR) can’t do much about it, as long nothing illegal or against the website’s rules is posted.

As for the name mentioning, c-suits can be mentioned because they are public figures, but identifiing your coworker/manager/vp will probably get your post deleted.

Typical EM people thinking the world revolves around them. Do you think EM has a controlling interest in LinkedIn too? LOL

Thanks @zwv+1c6GNhnO - alot of conditions for content.

Sounds like whoever at LO.com monitors all of these posts by these rules is simply a Biased Slacker.
Not likely report to Irving, despite the EM-ish lack of quality.
Just gig work probably.
Have mercy.

Please continue to post the most aggressive, manic and humorous stuff you can.
