EMIT Top Managers

Former IT Strategy, now Data Manager - the “Don’t ask what the LT can do for you, ask what you can do for the LT” can best be described as a robot. No human connection, definitely no empathy. I know for sure that executives do get put in the NSI category. He sure as he-l deserves NSI and I really hope he fails the PIP.

@3odn+1c8fyOfU I’m in the US and have worked with KQ directly. While the previous descriptors are pretty accurate, I would not put him even on my top 10 list of bad EMIT managers. I’d put the old Infrastructure groups, UIT, and parts of FLCIT above CDO as the culprits of toxic cultures. If you look at the high profile resignations, that’s mostly where they are coming from.

he didn't say "ask what you can do for the LT" I think he said "ask what you can do for the team" (or community?) it was one of these team references... I remember clearly it wasn't LT. There were also people supportive of what he said in the forum

I'm low in my CL, based in ap, and I neither know him nor have friends who work with him, but I'd hate to think another human being is vilified like that. how much longer do we want to harp on this speech blunder? it was just a badly timed comment, akin to not reading a room and asking how's everyone doing when someone just died, but hasn't everyone done that before? our mob behavior now is uncalled for... we are behaving like Japanese school bullies. the poor guy isn't behind all the MLRP policies or the terrible decisions the MC has made

come on... we are all intelligent EM hires, we all have options if we walk out the door... we don't need to stoop so low and be abusive to another human being on an anonymous platform. they can take away our jobs or pride, but we don't give away our dignity or humanity. be kind

I've worked around KQ enough to know that that douche-monkey doesn’t understand the concept of service above self. His so-called leadership does nothing to engender the trust, confidence, and loyalty of workers under him. His most notable traits are an over abundance of ego, pride, and arrogance. I give KQ (and the rest of a EMIT LT, for that matter) a vote of no-confidence.

Did they ever shut down their Y2K project or is it still going?

Why did KQ even say that… so out of touch from the ground.. all of us are working for the company, not for the LTs

EMIT is a goner in general. Outsourced, offshored, decluttered.
Many of EMIT LT have no other possible position with the company, due to their education and experience. Not an Engineer? Project Mgt is dime a dozen.

Just being on the EM management ladder means nothing if not core business.
Unfortunately, EM management ladder means nothing outside EM.
Be EMpathetic.

Personally I’d rather have the EMIT LT members who continue to enable and support toxic cultures in their organizations be on the NSI list, and there are worse cultures than the Data group.
