With Covid cases rising again will IBMers still return to the work place this year?

Does anyone actually read and fact chdck? Look at the redhat article posted in other thread. Even redhat says for the rest of the year “if you can work from home you should continue to do so”.

IBM will set the requirement... your choice will be, meet the requirement or leave.
With the delta variant spike in cases I bet the relocation game gets extended out further because there’s no chance people will go back in the office.
There is a simple solution to whether or not you should work from home, or go into the office. "If you need to, or want to go into the office then go into the office, otherwise work from home." But, of course, as always, IBM over complicates a simple issue.
The office is done, stick a form in em and move on.
IBM will have a very hard time asking folks to come back to the office in Sept-Oct without being able to offer a safe working envio. Look for January to be the new date, and that will only be if the “delta” variant has subsided, and no new variation sprouts up.
I heard it's being pushed from September 7 to "sometime in October". Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up getting pushed to January eventually.
