Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

I want to go back to the office

  • so i can gather my belongings that I left behind (sentimental items) and quit.

Finally getting some hits from remote jobs and my motivation to get out of this he-l ho-e is at an all time high.

For those of you that left the bank, why are you still coming here to comment? I mean, if I left BofA I sure wouldn’t be back on this site.

I left the company in mid-2020 much happier. Way better culture, comp, benefits, and remote flexibility. Will probably never return to financial industry.

I left in March 2020 after being severely burned out. WFH was a blessing. I finally got out of the daily funk and after the RTO rumbling a couple months back, I decided this is the last ride. I left all my sht there but it's replaceable stuff.

I left all my stuff last July for another job. It’s all stuff that can be replaced. A coffee cup, a picture…no need to return.

WARNING!!!! Do not RTO under no circumstances. I am currently working at a financial center for the past two year in this pandemic. You will catch covid 19 if you come back. Our center was closed repeatedly because employees tested positive. This delta variant is going to make things a hundred times worst.BOA gives zero fcuks about your well being. DO NOT RTO !!!!!!!!

Consider hedging your bets to see how September goes. When management sees there is utter chaos they may change their tune about remote. I am returning to the office in September and gonna just see how the month plays out while applying for jobs.
