The retire benefits along with folks retiring will have little to no impact to the business.

And regarding the inventive money to stay, that $800/1600 is for people > 20 years. People who have less service who aren't retirement medical eligible but would have been in the coming years get a whopping $200. BFD

Only $800 for singles. Regardless, there is no way the company is giving extra free money to us. There's a 'gotcha' coming. Either higher premiums or higher deductibles or something. Plus, why cap this new 'benefit' at 5 years?!? There is some other factor that they haven't disclosed yet. Don't trust them.

it must be higher than they wanted, did you see the new HSA update, for next 5 years AT&T contribute 1,600 a year more to HSA for those with over 20 years of service :)

Defiantly been an increase in retirements along with just folks leaving the business. Must be that great leadership.
