Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Worst mistake ever!

Absolutely no support from my boss and my boss has no idea what I do. Management's mess is put on the backs of employees. Management will scream to clean up their mess. The organization does not "think" about the strategy. My previous jobs I had exceeded as my performance evaluation. Not at TR - they do not recognize talent. Poor Management from top to Directors. My job description is continually changing - like a moving target. No support from management when something is put on your plate. What a freaking mess!!!!

That is something that I have seen here as well. The lack of direction, ownership, and accountability. On the plus side it’s crazy hard to get fired here. Only times is when something illegal happened that I’ve seen.

On the downside poor talent stays which impacts the future of the business.

If you really want to get ahead here you need to kiss a-s with the right people. That’s about it. Oh and make sure you stay close to one of the hubs.
