Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Does Nike want happy and satisfied employees?

No company is ideal and not one is there primarily because of the employees, that much is clear. However, better companies strive to keep employees, or at least the best ones, motivated, satisfied and happy so that they in turn give their best.
However, every day I am a little more convinced that Nike no longer cares about the satisfaction and happiness of its employees.

Nope just shareholders. As a shareholder I am extremely happy. Thanks to everyone at “the worst company in the world”.

They do not and these employees are less enamored with the brand (the smart ones are, at least). Nike is turning into a layover for something better, a name brand for the CV, and not a permanent home. The mood is poisonous and awful, the working expectations are dated, and the market for top talent is just to hot for Nike to seriously compete (especially for people on the digital side).
