You too, huh? My wife has been complaining about the stack I installed in the entry hall that runs all the way up to the 2nd story ceiling. I had to move the durn cat cracker into the back yard. Ditto for the bug burner.

It's not all negative though. Since I started WFH, I've noticed a substantial drop in mosquitos when I need to flare.

At what point in time will they make some jobs or most office jobs WFH

1) after two years of temporary WFH
2) when others offer WFH for HR
3) when others offer WFH for IT
4) when they require us to come back to the office and the wife of dual income people with small children decides that working in the rat race and being away from the kids is not worth it

I started to drill a well from home but it rather messed up my basement. Next week will try refining in the attic and will let you know how that works out.

After this amount of time, there is no way that they can “spin” that it is important for you to return to a cubicle wearing a mask, social distancing and whatever else because of the “interaction”! Be serious....If anything, the company should “negotiate” with any “air quality management” to receive “carbon credits” from all the vehicles that will be not commuting in their pursuit of “Green”er pastures.

…DYpC7 comment shows how clueless so many people are. Without our workers on platforms, rigs, drill sites, ships, chemical plants, refineries, terminals, and more … we would have no company. We provide real products for use in the real world. The most important people in this industry are not the ones working comfortably from home, but the ones working uncomfortably on 12 hour shifts, weekends, holidays, etc. So to say “Work can be done remotely for nearly all employees” shows your ignorance of the realities of our industry.

Pointless to return. Work can be done remotely for nearly all employees.

I’m glad someone finally made a new return to office thread. We haven’t had one in about an hour.
