Just curious what the actual lawsuit was for. MLK day now becoming a holiday for all union members.

CWA fighting for AT&T workers again! Yay!!
Trust me the lawsuit was just a ruse to appease the members. AT&T and CWA are joined at the hip on about everything.

AT&T Reaches Agreement With Union Securing Employee Tenure And Crucial Labor Force

From article:
The CWA lawsuit claimed that AT&T planned to lay off over 700 of its technicians to cut costs while continuing to commission subcontractors for the same work.
The new agreement aims to protect the jobs of 29,000 landline technicians until 2023. The company has also agreed to hire 6,000 customer service employees by 2024.
What District is this for? District 3 hasn’t heard anything about this.
This was not a lawsuit. Its called litigation because the agreement had legal language. The union never wins lawsuits, dont be fooled.
“More vacation than any other company”. THAT IS SOME TEXAS HOGWASH MANAGER THAT CANNOT MANAGE!
I will take your MLK day off. Thank you ATT...
No one needs MLK off, AT&T already gives more vacation to long term employees than any other company in the industry.

Not true. Fact.....
Does anyone actually know what the lawsuit was about? The company violating headcount watermarks agreed to in the CBA?
Are they going to try and make us use one of our four floating holidays on MLK or will it actually be a real holiday?
Probably being paid all of $2.00 per comment by the company for these posts

What took so long? Stankey is trying to be all equal opportunity, surprised it took a lawsuit to get this done.
