Now it looks like it may cause interferrence with airplanes. If VZ can’t use this spectrum and the government doesn’t give a refund, there will be a lot of layoffs to cover the $50 billion waste. I have no idea what you are talking about, you are talk gibberish! I myself can remember all the rules on airplanes to turn off this and turn off that. I clearly remember not being able to use a laptop while in the air. If you want to deny this took place you are just showing yourself as a person that is here to argue and be a board troll. I am no expert, just an office worker at VZ...

RF expert and a pilot on a VZ message board. What a coincidence. Yeah right. Are you also an epidemiologist and can you chime in on the current virus? What are some brain surgery techniques as well? Did you also stay at a Holiday Inn?
26 years in RF and a pilot here. This article is just BS. Remember when the FAA banned the walkman from operation claiming it could interfere with flight nav? Yeah.. a freak'n tape player would interfere, give me a break. In Europe you can use whatever you want on a plane, cell phones during takeoff and landing etc. etc. Not one single accident in Western Europe linked to any RF device, not one!
This is all hype and just fearmongering! I remember flying from JFK to Denver as a kid and being asked to turn off my walkman as it can interfere with takeoff nav systems. Of course I complied. However, I was a Navy pilot and amassed 306 traps under my belt before I left the Navy. I think I know a thing or two about aircraft and aircraft navigation. Anyone that buys into this BS about C-Band causing flight nav issue is just uneducated. Where do you think C-band comes from? Do you think this is some kind of "new and unused spectrum"? We have broadcasting RF in c-band for ages and the balk of c-band broadcast is pointed to the sky at the moment and aircraft pass right over ground stations pushing RF right into the aircraft!

5g was stupid from the start. What was wrong with 4g? oh in 10 years you might use the connection to operate on someone remotely. It's all marketing and gimmick. Most 5g home people can't even get it unless they are pointing at a node/tower.
I think it would end the big money train if there wasnt some deal for now unusable spectrum.
