My leadership is mandating that new employees are hired from overseas. I feel like this is the start of something bad. Has anyone experienced this and how long before you saw US positions eliminated?

Are you new here? That’s been going on for years.
Yea the exodus of US workers to shift to using offshore has already begun. They have been harping about it for months. Every week they let small amount of people go to satisfy the quota. They preach they are diverse company but really are an Indian company. Very sad but they will eventually find out what other corporate businesses found out years ago. Offshore appears cheap on the front end hit in the long run are more expensive because they continually have to redo their mistakes over and over. Costs serious money too.
no employee rights in the US empire. thanks to capitalism, they go for cheap labor to maximize their vile profits off of the sick and the infirm.
Probably within 18-24 mos it can be slow and it doesn't mean all US positions are eliminated but yes it doesn't sound good. Could be faster too its hard to say.
Tell your leadership to hire 2-3 to get the same output depending on the role…
Nothing new here.
Change health care!!!
Then in 6 months they will hire onshore people to fix what they do wrong.
You have six months, just long enough to get them halfway trained.
Lol first time huh.

We have been facing this as well & our whole team feels like it will be less then a year before our jobs are consumed & run by offshore.
