I'm working my cases this morning and see the pop up for the Enterprise Wide email from BM. I thought maybe he saw the light and is delaying RTO. Nope! We are rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. As the band plays "Nearer My God To Thee"

Here's hoping Dean takes Small Business under the commercial bank again where it belongs

Moynihan trying to get out. Cash in before the RTO issues start to really hit. So he won’t have eyes on him.

The changes in leadership are largely driven by the need to establish a succession plan to groom an eventual replacement for BM, who is in his 60s and eyeing retirement. Older leaders are stepping aside into new roles or retiring to make way for a younger generation of leaders. Let's hope new leadership will usher in a new way of thinking.

Something else is going on. In BM's letter he mentioned record profits. Why such a major change to the management if this is the case. There have been major tech projects "shelved" as of yesterday. Was RTO just to to put the spotlight elsewhere?
