My exemption was approved 10 days ago but my boss has not approved. How long did your boss take to approve after HR deemed your exemption eligible? Thanks

Depends on your role, and your manager's position/level. While HR may approve based on the initial guidelines, your manager and chain of command evaluates your position/business needs - are you customer, fellow employee facing, need to be on-site, etc, and then approves, or possibly denies the request. Also they need to consider the possibility-of giving the you the opportunity to find a new position as your non-vaccinated status may not allow you to fulfill your duties. This is not just an AT&T thing and I would expect as more guidelines and precedents are set around the country that we'll start seeing more Americans being let go.

Already approved. You will be approved. Do not listen to the haters. Just jump through their hoops and get paid.
It's only a formality. Once HR approves it - you're approved. I'm betting your manager didn't realize they had to go in and click approve.
ATT will approve just do everything correctly. They dont want lawsuits or negative publicity.
First, don’t let the trolls get to you! My exception was approved as well. I scheduled a meeting to discuss with my director, as far as accommodations. He is new, and didn’t realize he had to go in and approve from his side. Schedule a meeting to discuss.

So sometime with a waiver approved in writing by HR is going to be sent home for acting as per the terms of the waiver? Yeah, right.
Look for being sent home w/o pay due to your “beliefs”. Be prepared for that eventuality. Have you taken other vaccines? What other constraints do your religious beliefs impose on your job? None I imagine. Maybe a career change is in order? Why not resign from AT&T and go into the ministry since your religious convictions are so strong? Give someone who wants to work here a chance to fill your slot. Be careful what you ask for. Too late now.
Why would one lie? Take the damn vaccine and stop being so selfish.
Most reviewers/managers know the exemption requests are invalid, so they have little motivation to approve.
Does the direct manager really have any choice in this matter? Just act as if it's approved, and if they are foolish enough to retailiate, pursue a claim against the company.
It seems mostly like a ploy to put the direct manager on record as being responsible for managing any followups needed. Nobody cares about their opinion of the validity of the exemption
