This dude is still trying to influence even though he was ousted. AND is still gaslighting w the best of them around why he was canned. If you are still his follower, what gives? What's the allure? More importantly: Get with the program or go away. You are poison too.
MD was a caricature of IT management straight out of the HBO series Silicon Valley. The cringeworthy things he would say in the most disingenuous way are like nothing I have ever experienced. It was silly and corny and d-mb and laughable — and it happened almost every time he opened his mouth.
He left big bags of bad things for the people left behind to deal with … forced data center exits, work vendors have done without proper contracts, a shadow internal reorganization based on some football team analogy; the list goes on and on. It was and remains a confusing mess in IE.
He’s gone and moved into another organization to sc--w over, but the cr-p he left behind at Nike doesn’t go away, it has to be dealt with my those left behind.
I feel bad for those that have to deal with MD and his titanic sized ego at big red. Then again, he would probably fit right in there.

100% agree. MD is a lunatic and his new org structure is a reflection of his madness. IE was already broken and is now complete chaos. It’ll take years and another re-org to fix it.
Dude was shady from day 1 and seems to have really screwed Nike over in many ways including the reorg structure for his domain. I was thinking same thing as I know some of his acolytes.
