Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Breakthrough cases

One on my floor less than a week into the RTO. Not worth risking health coming back to work.

@1xfl+1cQa5kwD There's two legal systems. One for people and companies who have money and another for the rest of us. You're a su---r if you think you can win. The ONLY power you have is the ability to quit and get a different job somewhere else.

"When COVID first started, and they tried the staggered approach to people working from home, the entire campus, multiple buildings went home and stayed home. Managers were mad, but didn't do anything. Why are you all so scared of them? Tell them NO to anything you don't feel comfortable with. And then tell them if you get so much as a bad performance review in the next few years, you'll view it as retaliation, and any termination will be met with the full force of the legal system. If enough people do that they'll stop this cr-p. It's why the corporate owners trotted out President Alzheimers talking tough last week. If enough stand up, tell them no, Biden and his corporate masters will fold like a cheap suit. Believe that." - @1xfl+1cQa5kwD

Lol don't listen to stupid people like the one quoted above. It's why you fools always have trouble with the police or authority, you simply don't know how to conduct yourself properly. Believe that.

"full force of the legal system" lol don't be stupid. Let's see how much of your full force compares to the legal protection the Bank has.

Here's the reality, if your leadership requires you to be in-office and you aren't complying that is insubordination and strong grounds for firing or being put on leave without pay until the situation is sorted out. Lol if you think you'll even be there long enough for your performance rating.

" For vaccinated people, covid symptoms are little to mild".. is what the news says but we all know that is not reality as fully vaccinated people are also dying.

I think it’s cute when the employees (slaves) think they can fight the system.

"We the employees need to fight this or someone is going to die because of the id--tic decisions our leaders are making during this pandemic!"

RTO isn't going to be reversed, the Bank is in fact accelerating RTO. BofA leadership has made it clear it is a 'work from office company'. Why don't you just leave?

Any persons who gets sick will be sent home. The others will continue working from the office, it's as simple as that. For vaccinated people, covid symptoms are little to mild. Obviously the Bank knows people are going to get sick. There have been many outbreaks of flu at the Bank and many other companies, same protocol.

wow, already breakthrough cases with only vaccinated people and not at full capacity... this will be nightmare even if vaccines are mandated.. people still will get sick and pass it to others and then to their families. hopefully I will be out by end of month.

It’s pretty clear that you will all need to be vaccinated or be terminated.

I'm in Charlotte and my office area feels no cleaner or safe than before Covid and still an open floor environment. I usually ride the bus, but am afraid that I'll catch the virus and bring it to my coworkers, so I am driving in. Someone is going to catch the virus on our floor. It isn't safe.

Yet per many comments on an all hands call yesterday nothing has been done pretty much from the beginning. Hopefully they will shut down RTO but I seriously doubt it. It seems upper management has their head in the sand or blinders on. People are not social distancing and just running around like nothing is happening. I bet there won’t be live questions on the next call. They will filter those questions! We the employees need to fight this or someone is going to die because of the id--tic decisions our leaders are making during this pandemic!

Thanks for sharing, but be careful to not say anything that lets them figure out who you are.

Wow!! Well they still don't want to listen to the employees. They are still on the "we're not a work from home company". All it takes is one with the virus and then there's a ripple effect. I heard there has not been nothing in place to keep employees safe so it's really going to be bad when the campuses are at full capacity.

I told you guys in earlier posts the RTO was going to be a disaster. The one employee infected with the virus will turn into multiple employees to be infected. The CEO knew this was going to happen. I believe they will end the RTO when the numbers go up and they will. This variant is highly contagious and will spread fast.

the pt is that breakthrough cases happen, and are obviously more common than suspected. I do not trust the data, the sample is still too dicey and small.
