Pay raise

So are they paying each lead the same again, because for example some team lead actually work and do labor like tires for example, and the front end leads spend the day standing around talking and watching cashiers and monitoring breaks, how is it fair somebody throwing tires are driving fork lifts and stocking to help there department the same as somebody standing around talking and pushing up grades and time to time working a register

At our club I'm a 30-year associate on the front end as an MSL and I can't speak for everybody else but I give 100% every day that I am at work and the other msl's that are in our club don't do half of what I do the Plus in credit and new memberships or what get you your bonus come to the front line and work and no that it's not an easy job putting up with the members as they leave the club and they're unhappy because we don't have items in stock the bathrooms are dirty people don't make their self seen on the floor for help when members needed the front line here is all of it before they leave so know what you're talkin about and don't assume that all msl's on the front line do nothing but stand around I've been passed on to raises because I'm a long-term associate and work to get where I am at so it's time to slow my roll

Imagine running to this site just to expose how little you know about your own business.

Membership is 100% revenue for the company. It doesn't cost us anything to get a member to sign up or upgrade. That accounts for 1/3 of your bonus and why prices get to stay competitive.

Know what you're talking about first.

Work is classified as being on the clock so according to walmart it does not matter if you are standing around or sweating blood stocking or any hard labor everything is classified the same.
My suggestion to anyone find a position that you stand around and enjoy the pay.

Been with the company 20 years, even back when it was called Cos, most of them are involved with drama between cashiers, and gossiping standing around, yeah thats fine...if thats all expected of them all im saying is how can they get paid the same as people who work and do audits and drive fork lifts, and several other things that asked of them even in other departments, i just feel maybe being responsible for members vehicle and associates safety working on vehicle and supplies and etc etc, are meat being cut and associates being safe cutting meats, are having to know how to drive a fork lift and constantly changing planagrams are more responsibility and should be more pay....thats all, sorry to upset anybody just my opinion, fellow coworkers

Fyi those plus and credit that those front end leads push, give you the quarterly bonus you get. So, maybe say thanks instead of assuming you know what they do. If they actually do nothing, then I am sorry for you and your club but you should blame that on management. Not all clubs are that way. So perhaps get all facts before you cast a blanket judgement that would encompass the staff of an entire company and not just your tiny little corner.
