Getting stress leave approved

How hard is it, really? Did anybody here have luck with it at any point? What did it take?

Stress Leave? Isn't that the same as calling in sick? Or requesting vacation days? or retiring? or resigning? Or taking an unpaid leave under FMLA?

Or are you asking if there's a way for someone to get paid for doing nothing under the aspect of Stress? Everyone's stressed with what's going on in the world. We all want a mommy or faddy that can provide for us. Unfortunately, BofA ain't it.

@mml+1cVCnL9Y I got the 30 day extension info from the HR rep that supports my team.. I doubt that it would apply to all cases but my concern was coming from a parent with a young child too young for vaccination. You'd have to contact your HR rep.

@nzq Thank you for a detailed answer. And others who responded in good faith. To those who mock me, I truly hope you are never in the position I'm in right now.

Where are you getting info it’s only for 30 days? Is this in all cases? Even those who are immune compromised? 30 days doesn’t help in that case.

My understanding with medical accommodations is the Bank will provide a 30 day extension on WFH under certain circumstances. I'm not sure BofA will provide long term WFH unless you have a disability that literally prevents you from coming into an office. For COVID related matters, if you get a medical waiver it may only be 30 days.

Honestly, our best bet right now is for BofA to cave and allow a hybrid work model.

If your talking medical accomodation. It takes a lot. Dr note is not enough...need to give up hippa rights to contractors, bac and other groups that are affiliated with bank...then additional questionnaire to medical doctor for bank of america to determine if in their medical opinion you need to work from home...not sure why bank will not go off licensed medical doctor approved as an in network medical plan..also the contractors are taking over 7 plus days to get employees on status...good luck with stress on top of the stress from putting in an accomodation request
