We should not have needed a "Do over" if it had been done with even a little bit of common sense the first time. I suspect you are loyal to the ghost of the one let go... The one who screwed it up in the first place.
The new interim leader is a rock star, transparent, insanely smart, and beloved. Hopefully, she keeps the role.
She is not a smarmy, gaslighting, narcissistic, egomaniacal, crazy person who hired his very unqualified friends. (MD, looking at you.)
Unfortunately , the “do over’, is politics at it’s worst (ands also as usual, I suppose) . It’s now a game of fiefdom and land grabbing. Those who are friends with or have a previous working relationship with the interim TechOps leader are doing everything they can to influence her and expand their roles. Everyone else is still in that same position of being screwed over.
@iamf Yes! They attempted to enact his plan even though he left entire products without developers right before the holidays. He moved ALL developers off. No support plan. No backup.
Nobody reviewed or sanity checked his plan?? What??
I mean, wow.
MD was an insecure egomaniac. What baffles me is that our leadership implemented his plan even though he was exited. What does that tell you about our leadership? They may be undoing some of the changes but it’s too little, too late.
@2gtz this made me smile & chuckle - left the Swoosh in no small part due to said individual, glad to hear that adult-lead actions are underway.
A complete do-over of the giant mess of a child-like fingerpainting project that MD left behind is in the works.
