ATT Life Insurance In Retirement?

Anyone in mgmt know if it's possible to keep/obtain group life insurance upon retirement? If so, was the cost / coverage possibly in line with or cheaper than buying on the open market?

Retirees paying the price for Stankey's multiple blunders. How Stankey keeps his job is beyond explaination.

The sad part is that you should not need to seek life insurance as an at&t retiree. Before Stankey whittled the retiree life insurance down to basically nothing, at&t had an excellent retiree life insurance plan. Just more of everyone else paying for Stankey s lack of leadership skills.

Occupational retiree here. Received a letter from AT&T stating that there will be a one time chance to add to company subsidized insurance regardless of preexisting conditions. They stated that they subsidize the insurance which should provide a 20% discount to the open market. They offered this because they recently announced a reduction of the life insurance that is 100% paid for by the company.

Don't know if this will be offered to future retirees upon their retirement.

Just went through that I would shop around for better market rates. Selectquote or Zander you may do better depending on health rating
