You are the problem

People who keep getting asked to do things outside of their job description and never complain. People who get extra work put on their plate and never complain. If you keep doing that, then you have no right to come here and say you're overworked. Of course they'll keep giving you more work. For as long as you keep doing it, they'll figure they can add more. Whether you do it after work, on the weekends, it doesn't matter. If you do it, they win. Stand up for yourself, for ffs. They'll never stop unless you give them a reason to.

I can't say I agree with giving no notice. That burns bridges. Just because they act unprofessionaly, doesn't mean you should. When you leave, give your notice and don't tell them where you're going or what you're doing. It's none of their business anyway. The non-compete paperwork they make you sign is pretty much unenforceable per my lawyer. It's just a scare tactic. And if they bother any of your future employers with it, you can sue Honeywell for harassment. I hear the Honeywell corporate lawyers are very good at settling out of court to keep the bad public relations stuff out of the news.

agree with other posters. For my last year and a half I kept asking my manager for help as I could not perform my functions to my standards even with working about 50 hrs a week. Retired at 62 with 39 years working there and gave my retirement notice last day I worked there.

I agree. They won't fight to keep you and once they learn you've been redpillled, you're dead to them. It's better to get another job outside of HON, then no notice quit at the end of a pay cycle so you get all the money they owe you. Don't worry about giving them two weeks; they didn't do it to anyone they RIFd and if they hear you're going to work for a competitor they will let you go on the spot anyway.

Not a good idea to tell your manager you intend to leave. Nothing good ever comes from that at Honeywell. Other than internal Honeywell positions, all job searches should be done in stealth mode.

This has been the past year for me.
Two months ago, I have made it very clear to my manager that if things do not change, I will be out. I gave a date that intend to follow through with my threat. Every time we speak, I remind my manager of this.
Needless to say, things are not changing and the date approaches quickly. I am currently applying elsewhere.
